Dr. Raúl López Serna brings more than a decade of experience across neurosurgery and complex spine surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive, motion preserving techniques. Trained on four continents, he has guided patients from Mexico, the United States, and Canada through decisions that relieve chronic pain and protect spinal health.
He completed his residency at Mexico’s National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery, then earned a Master’s in Spinal Pathology in Spain and advanced fellowships in London, South Korea, and Finland. He is a founding member of NEUROCUN and an active member of AOSpine International, EuroSpine, and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
His clinical focus spans endoscopic discectomy, spinal fusion, microdiscectomy, and radiofrequency ablation, always favoring the least invasive approach that delivers a durable outcome. Dr. Juan de Dios Velasco Solórzano is an orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist based in Cancún, where he practices at Hospiten Cancún. His work centers on joint surgery and reconstruction: arthroscopy and sports injuries, shoulder and elbow surgery, and hip and knee reconstruction, from degenerative joint disease and cartilage damage to rotator cuff and meniscus repair.
